What is a daybed?
A daybed is a piece of furniture designed with two purposes in mind: sleeping and sitting. While it looks like a sofa with a back and arms, the cushion is actually a mattress made for sleeping. They're the perfect way to save space. Daybeds are designed to take a twin size mattress (39" x 75") but can vary in width and length due to arm and back size. Some are extremely compact while others have a more stately design.
